Write Here with Matilda
- TES partner the Royal Shakespeare Company has launched an interactive website, Write Here Write Now with Matilda, to inspire children to become creative writers, playwrights and avid readers. To celebrate, the RSC is setting a national writing challenge, inviting pupils aged 8-13 to create an original script or song to be performed live in a special performance at the Cambridge Theatre, London, in June 2013. www.matildawritenow.org.uk

- Take a look at the latest addition to the TES Resources SPaG series. To support literacy across subjects, a colourful desk place mat can be printed and laminated for pupils to refer to in lessons.
