New league tables are being published this week revealing how many pupils in every school achieved the five A*-C GCSEs including English and maths measure when “equivalent” qualifications are removed. The tables will be based on government figures released after The TES went to press, which will also give a breakdown by school of the grades achieved in different GCSE subjects.
