The Teacher Training Agency (TTA) is providing evaluations of accredited New Opportunities Fund (NOF) training providers on its website. The reader has to interpret because the reviews of each trainer are written guardedly. The number of trainers who have suffered problems with the technology necessary for training online is surprising. The review of CAPITA says it clearly “When the training was reviewed in February 2001 major problems with the online support for the teachers were identified, resulting in a large number of teachers leaving the programme.” The reviews are not all negative, for example Priory School in Slough: “No improvements in the training were required.”
