- Give the bloke credit where credit’s due. Three straight sets against the world number one in sweltering conditions - that’s an achievement by anyone’s standards. Here is a man worthy of being called British rather than the ugly, miserable Scottish wanker he would have been described as if he’d lost. He justifiably won the tournament. So fair dues.
