Pain in Spain

Heidies of Catholic schools in the west of Scotland reported a drop in school morale last Thursday, following the result of a certain football match in Seville.

They also reported a drop in the roll. As one commented: “The number of kids with notes from their parents asking for three days off to go on holiday was very interesting. I can’t recall so many dads being forced by their companies to take overseas holidays for such a short period of time at the end of May before.”

We await the next round of attendance figures with interest.
