How do you cope when one of your pupils has been bitten by a dog? And the family dog at that?

Why not look at the CD and guide produced by The Blue Dog Trust, a non-profit organisation. The interactive guide, launched at the Veterinarian World Congress in Prague, teaches children how to live safely with their dogs, and it has some great pictures.

The pack aims to reduce the risk of children accidently provoking a dog into biting them, as well as helping pupils make the safest choice when a dog approaches them.

The Blue Dog Parent Guide and CD has been trialled successfully in schools in Lincolnshire. You can find it at www.thebluedog.org.
