A software package called SURE Higher Physics has been produced by Counting Thoughts, a Glasgow-based science consultancy to promote learning by discovery, with an interactive textbook, simulations and questions with structured feedback to support formative assessment. It can be used at home and in class.
Brian Redman, principal teacher of physics at Selkirk High and the south of Scotland co-ordinator for the Institute of Physics’s teacher network, is quoted as saying: “I think this is the best resource I’ve seen for Higher and tremendous value for such a high quality package.”
