“Discover Careers . from farm to fork” is the title of a move by Sir Garth Morrison, president of this year’s Royal Highland Show, to encourage 16-25-year-olds to consider a career in the Scottish food and drink industry. The initiative involves a competition related to the industry, for which submissions must be completed by April 30. Finalists will see their work displayed during the show at Ingliston in June; the winners will also receive pound;1,000, free tickets to the show, work experience in a key company and a potential career in the industry.
