I was delighted with the article on Elgin High’s first music festival (“Student festival sounds swell”, 12 July), but disappointed with the main picture used to accompany the piece.
The photograph was misleading, as at first glance it looked as if it was taken at EHS-tival, not RockNess, and since it featured someone holding a can of beer, it was inappropriate: our event was alcohol-free. In fact, we used the Belladrum Festival, held near Beauly, as our model more than RockNess, as our event aimed to appeal to families, and not to young people who see alcohol as an integral part of a festival.
