By entering the Schools Question Time Challenge, pupils aged 14 to 18 can win a session with a BBC journalist for their school and the chance to work with David Dimbleby producing a real edition of Question Time. To enter, they must stage their own debates in Question Time format.

Resources, teacher’s notes, lesson plans and activities are free to download on the site and you can order DVDs (paying pp only) to help teach your students about citizenship and develop their speaking. Twelve finalist schools will be given a pound;500 grant to stage their own Question Time in front of judges. Pupils from four winning schools will then work with David Dimbleby to produce a Question Time to be broadcast on BBC 1. Entry deadline is January 6 and any school entering before November 5 will win a visit from a BBC journalist.
