Refugee play at Assembly

The National Assembly became a stage this week as children from Adamsdown primary school, in Cardiff, watched a play to mark Refugee Week.

Diogel?Safe? showed two children playing together with a toy truck, sparking memories for one pupil of fleeing his country in the back of a lorry to escape persecution. Edwina Hart, social justice and regeneration minister, said the Small World Theatre show was an excellent way of explaining the problems faced by refugees.
