7th February 2003, 12:00am
FORMER education secretary Estelle Morris began her comeback last week with a speech to Oxfordshire heads. The Birmingham MP admitted to being nervous but got a warm reception. She did not go into detail about her resignation but confessed to a few regrets. Chief among them was the continuing gap in attainment between “rich and poor, black and white, and boys and girls”. Ms Morris is to chair the e-learning Foundation, which wants all pupils to have access to a laptop within five years.
