SCHOOLS minister David Miliband’s outspoken belief in the power of education to transform the lives of disadvantaged youngsters has won him left-wing admirers. But at least one colleague regards him as an unreconstructed Blairite. At a question-and-answer session minister Ivan Lewis was introduced as sitting on the far right of the group. His opening quip: “I feel a bit uncomfortable sitting to the right of David Miliband,” left his boss shaking his head.
