On a roll for Easter

21st April 2000, 1:00am
I SEE from your edition of April 14 that you intend to feature Easter schools. In Our Lady’s High, Cumbernauld, we have been offering our own Easter school to increasing numbers of pupils over the past three years.

This year more than 160 pupils from Our Lady’s fourth, fifth and sixth years will participate in revision classes of their own choice from the wide range of subjects on offer at Standard grade, Higher and Certificate of Sixth Yer Studies levels.

Our very active parents’ association have been strong supporters of this venture. Each year they have contributed by providing and serving free soup and sandwich lunches to all participants. This year they have gone even further by eliciting the support of local businesses who have contributed various foodstuffs.
