Three out of four nurseries and kindergartens are either insufficiently insured or have the wrong type of cover, claims the leading insurer, Commercial Union.
The brokers for KiddiCare, the union’s specialist insurance package for the sector, have found that many businesses have inadequate cover based on guesswork. One nursery’s insurance, for example, only covered up to Pounds 12,000 when the actual cover needed was Pounds 100,000.
