School still to shine on parade

Queen Victoria School in Dunblane, which educates the children of members of the armed forces, has still to march in step with the inspectorate. Its follow-up report says very good progress has been made in only two of the five points for action outlined in the original inspection, including better relationships among senior managers. But, overall, the school “did not yet demonstrate sufficient capacity to secure improvement”, say the inspectors, who will continue to keep an eye on it.
