Rising young football star Adam Matthews, of Cardiff City and Wales, officially re-opened a Cardiff primary school this week. Hawthorne Primary has undergone a #163;2 million transformation as part of the city’s school reorganisation programme. Improvements include six new classrooms, a special educational needs room, a kitchen, a new library, an IT suite and a new nursery.
