Science - En route to a new sensation

6th February 2009, 12:00am

Children from remote areas and deprived communities will have more opportunities to learn about science and technology, following the announcement of transport subsidies to Dundee’s Sensation science centre.

The Scottish Government funding of Pounds 33,000 is designed to help community groups, with a separate fund available to schools. Visits must take place before March 31 and funding will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful applicants will also qualify for reduced admission, provided there are at least 10 people in the group.
