Science friction

6th July 2007, 1:00am
The British Humanist Association has renewed its call on the Government to publish guidance about the teaching of creationism in science lessons. The association and Ekklesia, a Christian think-tank, have written to Ed Balls, the new Children, Schools and Families Secretary, asking him to contact schools as soon as possible. Concerns were raised after the group Truth in Science, which promotes intelligent design in science, distributed lesson packs to all secondary schools.
