Modelled on the mobile library, it aims to teach old dogs new tricks in the 70 Borders communities with a population of under 500. Other awards went to Stirling Council for its work on community schools, West Lothian for its innovative use of technology in schools and to the three Ayrshire councils for their “fit babies” project.
