As schools return for the new session, we review Brian Wilson’s first three months as Education Minister and the impact on schools.

The biggest issue is the change in atmosphere and the non-confrontational approach. Mr Wilson wants things to change and he is very aware about the charge of complacency. I think he is willing to think the unthinkable and be open.The gradual emphasis on the early years will introduce changes in the upper school that people have not properly considered.
