The Scottish Football Association has launched its soccer schools programme for boys and girls aged eight to 16, offering courses in Perthshire, Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Inverness in July and August.

The five-day courses involve the teaching of football skills in a fun environment by qualified SFA coaches. In addition to practical sessions, the daily programme includes talks, films ad quizzes, with all participants receiving a T-shirt, football, back pack, water bottle and other gifts.

Scotland manager Craig Brown says: “Everyone has great fun on these courses with a noticeable improvement being shown in the individual ability of players.”
