Each episode of the BBC2 show, Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks, opens with Grandpa Piggley telling stories of childhood antics as lessons in life to his three city-dwelling grand pigs. The programmes explore themes of adventure, friendship, imagination and problem-solving. Primary pupils are invited to create their own Jakers! adventure and produce a recording of the final story by May 30. Prizes include a visit to the school by a professional storyteller.
