GL Assessment has extended its phonological assessments with the Gaelic Phonological Screening Test, Deuchainn Fuaimneachadh Gaidhlig. Designed for Gaelic-medium teachers, the test is easy to use and interpret and can be used with pupils in P2-3 (with data for 5-8s). www.gl- assessment.co.uk.

A cartoon series and computer game - The Space Place - designed for young children on the autistic spectrum has been launched by Catalyst Pictures, which is also behind the acclaimed DVD The Transporters, developed in conjunction with the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge.
