Telford students’ network

Telford and Wrekin Council is spending pound;7.5million on an ICT network for its 24,500 students. Billed as the most advanced Internet-based e-learning project in the UK, the scheme will have a high-speed broadband network and school-based vdeo-conferencing facilities. Students will also receive interactive-video conference tuition, 500 desktop video-conferencing units,15 group-conferencing facilities and a personal email addresses.
