Think before you drink

18th February 2005, 12:00am
Cumbrian teenagers are to be taught about alcohol as part of a campaign seeking to highlight the effects and consequences of drinking. The project aims to encourage 13 and 14-year-olds to think about what they drink, to respect alcohol and to be responsible for their behaviour and that of others. The initiative will be jointly sponsored and delivered by the police, fire and ambulance services, drug and alcohol agencies such as Turning Point and the area’s healthy schools and antisocial behaviour co-ordinators.
