A total of 1,449 members of the public have recommended their nursery, school or college for a Charter Mark to date, compared to 580 nominations last year. Nominations have been received for 115 nurseries; 501 primaries; 380 secondaries; 87 further education colleges; 23 higher education colleges; and 343 other institutions in the education category of the award.
