YOUR picture of Henry Moore’s “The Family Group” at Barclay school, Stevenage (TES, June 23) reminded me of the greatest compliment ever paid to him. In the sculpture’s early days children passing used to rub one of he knees. From time to time a hole appeared and had to be repaired.
Incidentally, John Newsom managed very well without the final “e” you gave him.
