Way off-target;Letter

Anthea Millett’s article on teacher supply is thoroughly dishonest. It is transparently an attempt to shift the blame for the Teacher Training Agency’s mishandling of the problem on to those who have tried, sometimes desperately, to get the TTA to take the issue seriously. The section on target-setting could come straight out of Alice in Wonderland and offers, as a future panacea, the ineffective status quo. On second thoughts, it might have been King Lear. I will do such things - what they are I know not yet - but they shall be the terrors of the earth!

As to the rest, well, Pontius Pilate would have been proud of this example of blaming the victim.
