Melissa Nikolic is the Director of Programming for the Georgia BioEd Institute, a division of the state life sciences trade organization Georgia Bio. Ms. Nikolic works to support and promote the Bioscience Workforce Pipeline, an education and workforce development initiative created to align the current and future workforce in Georgia with the needs of its life sciences industry. The K-12 educational focus of the Georgia BioEd Institute is high quality, accessible laboratory science aligned to state standards and industry needs. We are proud supporters of Georgia’s STEM teachers in their quest towards educational excellence. Go Peach Teachers! Ms. Nikolic holds a Master’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology, both from Georgia State University. In addition to her role at Georgia Bio Ms. Nikolic is also a Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA.
