The RSC is one of the world's best known theatre companies. Based in Stratford upon Avon, our education practice is centred around our manifesto for Shakespeare in schools, Stand up for Shakespeare, with its call for young people to: - Do Shakespeare on their Feet - See it Live - Start it Earlier At the RSC we see direct parallels between teaching and learning and the way our theatre company works. Many of the resources we have developed reflect this belief, drawing on the practice of the rehearsal room to help teachers unlock text in new ways. You can find all of these resources through our site: www.rsc.org.uk/education/online-resources As well as these approaches, our interactive learning resources are currently being developed to provide online introductions to each of Shakespeare's plays as they are staged, offering archive image galleries, video content and teaching suggestions. These can be found at: http://interactive-learning.rsc.org.uk
