Good lesson planning and organization, engagement of students, mentally engaging educational techniques are just a few areas in which I have acquired experience and proven success. My years of practice have taught me the value of patience and reinforcement in the special education classroom. I work closely with each student, providing the individualized support and positive motivation each student requires to make them successful. Summary of my qualifications include: • Special needs teacher in the Inclusive Education Department, Oshwal Academy-Nairobi. Teaching modified British curriculum (ASDAN) to students with learning difficulties to promote reading, writing, language, and ADL skills. • Developing and administering exams, papers, and projects to evaluate student knowledge, and development and help them to graduate. • Shadow teacher at Braeside Preparatory School –working with a child with learning difficulties. • B.Ed.
