I have been teaching for almost a decade now and have gained a great deal of skills and experience over this time. Half of my teaching career has been within primary school as a Teacher, a Middle Leader and lastly, acting as SENDCO. From there, I moved to secondary education, leading a KS3 department entitled 'Aspire' which is centered on teaching vital life-skills. I also coordinated an alternative bespoke Maths, English and SEAL-focused curriculum for SEND children who were not 'secondary-ready.'
In July, 2017, I left my position in secondary school with a view to opening up my own educational business in Yorkshire, England. I have been working part-time as a supply teacher in various local primary schools, whilst transforming my blog www.skillswithfrills.com into a business.
Launching in January 2018, I will be available to teach life-skills across the curriculum, english/maths intervention and so much more!
