There are affinities between dyslexia and the Loch Ness monster, said Mr D.H. Brown, Edinburgh Corporation Child Guidance Department, to a conference in Edinburgh last week. Both dyslexia and the monster were overexposed.

A good deal of money was spent. Sometimes the monster was sighted and sometimes its existence denied. There were pro and anti groups.
