The Loch Leven Nature Centre, which is owned and run by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, is to be officially opened on October 31 by Robert Dougall, of BBC Television. The centre is at Vane Farm at the south of the loch. Miss Bridget Moore is teacher-warden of the reserve and also the RSPB’s first woman warden. Still in her twenties, she is a biology teacher from Sussex.
