The National Skills Academy for Financial Services has been awarded charitable status after passing the Charity Commission’s new, stricter public-interest test. Sylvia Perrins, the academy’s chief executive, said: “We are not a private training provider that is seeking to make high profits but an organisation that is reinvesting in education.”
