Action group on modern languages sets up internet site

* In a Scottish education first, the action group on modern languages has set up a site on the Internet to encourage debate and solicit views from the profession.

Helen Liddell, the Education Minister, sent a message to the group’s Dundee meeting on Wednesday saying the action group was “living up to its name”.

John Mulgrew, its chairman, said the website would also provide resources and support material. The address is www.svtc. org.ukmodlang.
