ADSL launch from BT

BT has launched LearningStream, an ADSL service available to all educational institutions. At two megabits per second, it is claimed to be 30 times faster than a single ISDN line and will cost between pound;2,000 and pound;3,000 a year, wth pound;600 connection, for 24-hour access. If a group of schools join together, adding another will cost pound;1,300. BT says up to 200 computers can use the system at the same time.
