SCHOOLS minister Jacqui Smith has announced a new code to help primary and secondary teachers set up after-school clubs and summer schools. The Code of Practice for the Primary Sector (Club Class) and the Young Persons Guide to Study Support (Extra Time) are available free from the Department for Education and Employment’s publications division.
