Age of attendance

Primary teachers Peter Morris and Caroline Howlett told delegates at a "super learning day", held by the General Teaching Council for Wales earlier this month, that a learning strategy advocated by the University of the First Age, a national educational charity, had helped improve attendance from 89 to 92 per cent at their school - Kitchener primary in the Riverside area of Cardiff. A similar day for the continuing professional development of secondary teachers will be held on Thursday, May 3.
