Airgun attacker injures five

A dinner lady and four pupils were injured when a teenager opened fire on them in a Leicestershire school playground.

Police arrested a 16-year-old at a house overlooking Holliers Walk primary school in Hinckley and recovered a number of airguns.

The victims, including three nine-year-old pupils, were all hit by air-rifle pellets. They were not seriously injured and did not need hospital treatment after the incident on Tuesday.
