Das Land der Ecken (The Land of Corners), a tale of harmony amid difference by Irene Ulitzka and Gerhard Gepp, represents Austria in the European Picture Book Collection. The 16 books (from all the European Union member states plus Switzerland) have been chosen to introduce the European dimension to primary-age children.
They are intended to be read in their original languages alongside translations or retellings. Original-language cassettes and teachers’ notes accompany the books.
