I don’t know about other TES readers, but I am getting an uneasy feeling about the Olympic Games.
Pollution, drug cheats, freedom of speech and terrorism are all overshadowing this greatest event on Earth.
Why can’t we hold the Games every four years at its home in Athens? All countries could pay into a fund, according to their means, and the sites in Greece could be maintained to the highest specification in a rolling programme.
Just a thought!
