The Scottish Claymores are hosting a youth festival at Crownpoint Sports Centre in Glasgow on September 9 to mark the start of the National Football League season in the United States.

About 20 teams are expected to play in a tournament of non-contact flag football and there will be full-kitted youth games.

This is the first year that a separate division of Scottish teams will compete in the British youth league. Those showing off their prowess at Crownpoint will be Glasgow Tigers, Moray Firth Dolphins, Clyde Valley Hawks and Dundee Storm.
