Summer is festival time: school and college students will entertain City workers with lunchtime concerts for a week from July 7 in Finsbury Circus Gardens as part of the City of London Festival. The Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s project, Connect, provides hundreds of young people from east London with the chance to create and perform music ranging from a jazz ensemble to a world music orchestra.
