FOR surviving rumours about his sex life, slagging off his number one fan’s plans for higher education within hours of Tony Blair announcing them at the Labour party conference, and even backing John McIntosh for handing round the begging bowl, the award has to go to Chris Woodhead. He ends the year with not only his job but a pay rise and an expanded remit. Well done Chris!
