The interactive exhibition Missing Links - Alive!, at Liverpool Museum until November 3, explores the story of human evolution. Visitors are greeted by a robotic Dr Richard Leakey, famed discoverer of the earliest traces of our ancestors in Africa, and are met by four displays of moving “animatronic” figures, which feature Astralopithecines, Homo erectus, Neanderthals and the Cro-Magnon cave painters depicted in realistic settings.
