Skills minister John Hayes has asked independent learning providers to produce a five-point plan to reduce unnecessary bureaucracy in training provision. Mr Hayes also told Martin Dunford, chair of the Association of Learning Providers, and Graham Hoyle, the association’s chief executive, that independent providers were key to delivering the Government’s skills agenda and apprenticeships in particular.
