AQA retains lead in A-level market

AQA continued to be the biggest A-level provider, seeing its market jump from 40 to 43 per cent in the last fiscal year, according to Ofqual figures. OCR’s share remained at 25 per cent, while Edexcel fell from 25 per cent to 21 per cent. For GCSEs, in the same year AQA was also the biggest board retaining a 45 per cent share; OCR stayed at 21 per cent and Edexcel climbed slightly from 21 to 22 per cent.
