A primary headteacher jailed for four years in June for firearms offences has been dismissed from his post at Ysgol Deiniol, near Wrexham, north Wales. Martin Wynn Davies, 58, admitted 14 charges in relation to the illegal cache of 14 handguns and seven rifles found by police in his home at Johnstown, near Wrexham. Davies said he planned to deactivate the guns on his retirement and keep them as a legal collection of historic and antique weapons.
